Another 10mm load that is almost outclassed by a .40S&W :D

I've had nothing but good luck with S&B.

Avg of 1035 FPS with 180s?

That's below a lot of starting loads in my Lee manual.

Why pay for that?

It's the cheapest 10mm out there for those that do not reload.

For those that do reload, it's makes for a good start to harvest for brass using cheap but not worn out by a higher pressure 10mm factory from the other brands.

When I used S&B, they've always worked for me. I've only shot 9x19 and .45 ACP S&B though.

I'll agree that S&B is good quality ammo in all the flavors that I have used, but I hope this 10mm S&B isn't any more expensive than .40 S&W.

Looking at SGAmmo, .40 Lite is $12.95 and 10mm strong is $14.95.

I agree ...  That's .40-level crapola masquerading as a 10mm. You're paying for downloaded .40-performance out of a more expensive case.

The non-reloading dudenal would be better off buying a 1K-rd case of Sig's 180gn FMJ ammo (@1250fps).

Sig 180 FMJ 10mm is very potent stuff. If I was going to use FMJ as my woods load, that would be the round that I would pick.

S&B makes great ammo and their 10mm load filled a perfect niche in the market. Low cost plinking ammo, which is what 95% of ammo buyers want.

I have shot a lot of it, along with many, many other brands. His chrono numbers seem low. S&B is definitely hotter than Federal American Eagle and PPU.

You should load up some .40 to say... 170 grain at 1300 FPS and show us how great it is.

I was only referring to this load from S&B. I've hit 1,025 from a 4.25" M&P with the Winchester Purple training ammo :D There's no denying proper 10mm loads outclass 40 any day of the week.

Thanks to the OP for posting these 10mm ammo video tests, I just jumped in to 10mm a few months ago with a TNW ASR 10mm carbine and a G40 MOS. I'm really liking the 10mm cartridge and I think it's satisfied my desire to get back in to .44mag again.

Gotta agree Sig Elite fmj is the best 'bang for the buck' in off the shelf 10mm. Thru my ASR at distance it groups better than PMC, UMC, S&B or PPU.

For cheap range rounds I'm liking S&B @ $16/box vs Sigs @ $26 a box. And it's hard to use 'cheap' and '10mm' in the same sentence.
