I'm looking for advice on how low a charge I can load and still cycle my smith and Wesson. I watched some YouTube videos using titegroup where they loaded 3.3 grain when you would use a start grain of 3.6. I was also researching chubies which appear to be 147 grain bullet with only 2.5 grains of powder. Anyone ever hear of these ?
I'm casting my own lead at 125 grains and use titegroup powder. My goal is to reduce recoil .

It sounds like you already know how to reload. If that is the case, what are you looking for? Just some recipies?

I use 3.2gr of titegroup with a 147. 3.7gr with 124. Those are plated though. I don't know that titegroup would be my first choice for cast.

I reload a lot of cast too, and I wouldn't use TG. I like a light recoil also and TG is just too hot. I've tried, it just doesn't work out.

Are you trying to be cheap or is this for a recoil sensitive person? A pound of Autocomp using 115 plated or FMJ will load 1,600 plus with just 5.1 grains per load.

I use 3.6 gr. of N320 behind 147gr. FMJ or hollow point. not to sure about recoil as I mostly shoot it in a MP5 suppressed clone.
I have shot a few hundred out of a Glock G17L but its been years and I don't remember what the the recoil was like.
All I know is its quiet as it gets. It is the Dater load called Special "K" plenty of info on it online.
