I just received my shipment of 147gr. HST's from Bone Frog. GTG!
|

Guy from GT called today, about placed order last night. Said not enough stock to fill my order would I like to back order? Website still shows in stock? Anyone else had this happen?

GT Distributors has the best price on HST I've found at 21.99 per 50 round box. This goes for both +P and non +P in 147 grain.
Right now, they're showing OOS on +P, BUT they WILL let you back order. I back ordered a case in December that shipped to me in January. https://www.gtdist.com/federal-9mm-50-bx-hst-hp-147gr-p.html |

I got my +p 147s from gt last week. Tested a couple mags. Now i traded my old carry ammo for hsts.

I got the coupon code in an email yesterday and figured I put a few boxes on backorder like always and was shocked they were in stock. |

Thanks for the link. I ordered some from Streichers 2 weeks ago. I just ordered 2 more boxes. HST has shown up everywhere in the past couple weeks after being gone for a long time.

I used the Streicher's coupon and got Federal HST in 357 Sig DELIVERED for $22/box of 50.
Unbelievable. Ordered a case of 147 HST, to boot. $460 delivered. |

You guys that order defense ammo by the case, you actually target shoot with that shit? Awfully expensive. I buy a box or two for my duty gun and an extra here and there to test at the range.

View Quote I was shooting a magazine of HST at the end of every trip to the range, and that is very expensive (7 rounds out of my Shield 9). I'm very confident that the ammo in the Shield and carry magazines will function perfectly now, so I don't do that anymore. But I still keep a minimum of 500 rounds on hand. Maybe I'm paranoid, but HST is hard to find at decent prices, so I tend to buy and keep more of it than 5.56 defensive rifle ammo. (BH TMK, Fusion MSR). But you're right, it's expensive to have that insurance of having more than enough for almost all situations. I still shoot a magazine of HST every couple of months, though. |

View Quote When I got to the range, the one in the chamber always gets shot. But mostly I live in the very real possibility of laws preventing me from getting it in the future, so I stack it deep. I'm just shy of 1.5k rounds of HST and I will feel better when I'm closer to 3K. I also have a stash of RA9B, Gold Dots and Golden Saber. Luckily I only shoot 9mm. |

Just ordered a case of 124 +p for $450 delivered. Seems like a good price on this load.
