I have a Polish PPS43 that I just converted to 9mm (barrel change) and I was wondering if anyone has ran the WOLF 9mm thru one or if WOLF is considered weak ? Since the 9mm is less powerful than the original 7.62x25 , the weaker 9mm won't always cycle the action. With Federal champion and aluminum case I get about 2 or 3 out of 50 that short stroke. I just wondered if WOLF was hotter than average or weaker than average ?-Thanks

It runs just fine in about 3 AR and 1 Uzi that I know of.

Now, the aluminum case Blazer does not.  I believe this is due to different co-efficient of friction.

Wolf 9 is not that hot, but it seems to be hot enough to function well.

Sounds like it's can't be any worse than the aluminum case. I'll have to give it a try.

I believe (I have not performed any sort of measured testing) that WOLF 9x19 is loaded on the warmer side. I do know that it is the cheapest ammunition that will make my semi-auto UZI (blow-back action) run 100%. This same gun will choke on anything but hotter loaded ammo. I am just happy I don't have to spend the money feeding it Winchester Q4318 which it also runs without issue.

Good to hear. My PPS43 9mm is the same way, run 100% with hotter ammo like the NATO spec QZ1 but I get 2 to 4 hang ups per 70 rds. with lower powered Federal Champion and Aluminum cased 9mm. It runs 7.62x25 100% with any ammo (with 7.62 barrel of coarse )

I my experience, most 7.62x25 ammunition borders on having WMD status
