I've bought a lot from Underwood Ammo but now he has gone the Double Tap route. Boxed 20 round at high prices. Hardly anything worth having is 50 round box anymore.

When I look at their site, it appears that they are offering both 20 and 50 rd boxes now?

At first I thought everything was in 20's as well; however, under options you can change to 50 round boxes.

I happen to just search and they came up.

I was surprised they offer a 400 Corbon & 40 Super loading!!!  I just bought a barrel for 400 Corbon from Clark for my Para.  Their prices for 400 Corbon is much better then what Corbon sells.  And if I go the reloading route (eventually), we're talking about $50-70 in dies.

So what is everyone's experience with them?

Can't speak for them on the 400 Corbon or 40 Super stuff, but I shoot plenty of their heavy .357 and 44 mag and it's top notch ammo IMO.  I use their Hard Cast 100gr ammo in my LCP too.

Underwood makes some great ammo.  They are now loading/offering the XP bullets from Lehigh Defense.  I toured Lehigh Defense on Thursday and was really impressed with all of their products.  Kevin Underwood is taking some of the finest engineered bullets and offering cartridges that are loaded to near "nuclear" levels.  I witnessed some ballistic gel testing at Lehigh Defense that was outstanding.  Underwood is taking the performance up several notches!

I love Rangers as well, my favorite carry load in 40 and 45.   The new XP solid CNC machined bullets(from Lehigh & Underwood) intrigued my interest and made 380 a viable summer carry option.  10mm Underwood is still the tits.

I bought a NEW gun.

I KNEW the gun was awesome.

See the difference.

Underwood has had a good reputation as far as I know.
