While I have no idea as to the terminal ballistics of this round, I wouldn't use it for defensive ammo. I doubt you'll find much, if any, actual data on this round. To me it's just plinking ammo.
Why trust your life to the cheapest you can find? Stick with a known, reliable round. I would feel better carrying the cheap Federal or Remington JHP. Spend the extra $10/box of 50 and buy Gold dots, Ranger SXTs, etc. |

When I do stock it I market it as target ammo. If you look at the design compared to premium bullets it does not inspire a lot of confidence that it will expand.

I'd use gold dot or HST
I do love Privi for plinking in any caliber I have tried (9x19, 45, 270, 308 )

I knew Prvi made alot of ammo for the military, figured they may have made a 'no frills' JHP that just worked and was at a good price, but I'll just go with something proven. |

As mentioned above, Probably nothing wrong with it but, Would you trust your life with it? All the Prvi stuff I have shot has worked fine and as advertised but is pretty dirty though.
