Sorry, saw you had posted that earlier. Maybe the lighter weight of the aluminum cases caused it to eject different?

I plan to run a couple boxes through my cz and sd9 then buy as much as I can afford.

Got to shoot 100 rounds of the stuff today, it's good to go.

Went through 100 rounds also my last time out at the range. No problems out of my M&P 9

I did notice it had a different odor then any other ammo I've used (I've only used brass/nickel plated prior to this) and it's ejection pattern was a bit different to, shooting up and to the rear or nearly straight up vs off to the side. It was a little distracting having the cases either fall on my head or hit my eye-pro but other than that it was just fine. Accuracy didn't seem any better or worse than other bulk 9mm ammo.

What were you shooting it out of?

I shot it through a beretta 92fs, accuracy seemed to be slightly better than wwb, and a hell of a lot better than the Tula I usually shoot.

M&P 9

It's good stuff, but supply seems to have dried up around my parts.

Same here, the local Wally World has not had it in several weeks.

My WM yesterday had a sign on their ammo case saying their shipment was "late".  My indoor range won't let me shoot it...but for $10/box I may buy some anyway

That's because your range wants dat brass yo!

Fuck that aluminum not reloading garbage.

I have run 750rds of the FedAl through my G17/19/34 and it runs 100%, accuracy is not bad I can keep everything in the 9 and 10 on my targets about 3MOA, and it is pretty clean ammo.

I also pick up a bunch of it to inspect after each range outing and have yet to see any difference between it and brass.  I almost exclusively shoot the Al ammo now when I can find.

Mine still  seem to get it in, but  you almost have to be Johnny on the spot to grab any.

The aluminum .45 works great in my 1911. $15/50 is hard to beat for practice ammo.

Actually, the Federal brass is cheaper than the Federal aluminum for .45.

I'm not quite sure why that is, but I'm not complaining.

The USP I used to have would choke like dog on a chicken bone anytime I tried to feed it aluminium. I supposed that was why HK said it was a no-no.

The Federal brass 100 packs for $28.97 are pretty much the Holy Grail of .45 ACP practice ammo.

They come in boxes of 5 and they certainly don't last long.

I don't think I've seen it at that price at my local Walmart...I'll have to check next time I'm there.

If it is that price I'll buy some of the brass, AND some of the alumnium.

In the weather we're having here, if I practice at the range, I really don't feel like scrounging up my brass for reloading. I'd rather shoot aluminum and just sweep it up and chuck it without regard for saving it for reloading Hell with chasing brass in the snow

At my Wally World they mix the Aluminum on the same shelf as the brass, and the tag on the shelf has the price for the brass, but it always rings up at $9.97 per box for the Aluminum.

Snagged 200 rounds yesterday afternoon.
