That's exactly what the Winchester is. The Winchester Ranger 9mm NATO 124gr FMJ is the same stuff as well.

Thanks
I thought M882 was made by Federal. |

They're just a contracted supplier, who happens to run Lake City.
Winchester gets contracts for it as well though. Same as M855 and other rounds I'm sure. |

I thought M882 is available to the public sometimes. I have some labeled as such from either Federal or Winchester.

Check 124gr FMJ ammo before buying. If it has a cross in a circle stamped on the rim of the case, it's NATO ammo.

S&B makes a load that's pretty close as well. I've bought lots of 124gr S&B that has the NATO cross headstamp.

Nor is it really much better than generic FMJ loads. You might get primer sealant, and crimped primers, over regular FMJ loads. It's not really anything special. Winchester sells it as part of their Ranger line.... and Federal sometimes sells it as well. http://www.sgammo.com/product/winchester/500rd-9mm-nato-winchester-ranger-124-grain-fmj-p-ra9124n-ammo |

No I'm talking about the military marked stuff in ammo cans. Which is what the OP is referring to. Yes the NATO ammo is the same & I have a bunch.

I've seen Federal M882 for sale, maybe Ammoman, Natchez, or other similar online ammo vendor.
I just like it because it's a little hotter, the way 9mm Parabellum is supposed to be, compared to most commercial 9mm. |

The NATO ammo is on ammotogo & cheaper then dirt now. Pretty good prices too.
Whatever you do DON'T order from that crook ammoman. He's smoking crack pricing this ammo at $19.90/box. |
