So, I helped my neighbor (cop) sell a glock he had. He told me he had .45 ammo to get rid of as well. I said, I'd make some phone calls for him about the glocks (I'm a 1911 guy), but I would gladly take the ammo.

All I know is it's one of the Winchester varieties. I got about 800 rounds.

I hope you didn't pay $.34 a round like most of the rest of us are stuck doing, at least those than don't reload.

I reload it for $.22 a round. That's with a 230gr FMJ (not plated) bullet for a load that does 865 fps from my USP.

I'll be cutting that way down by going to plated bullets in bulk and a more economical powder.

ETA: Should be just under $.15 a round then.

Reloading LRN @ .16/ rd.....with FMJ it jumps up to .29 per.
