THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I was at Cabela's last night. I was looking at 9mm ammo for my Kahr CW-9. A sales associate told me that Hornady 147 grain XTP is the same load as Hornady 147 grain TAP, the only difference being brass case vs nickle case, and the primer is not sealed / waterproofed on the XTP. Is this true? The price difference per box of 25 was right around $5. Thanks! Brad |

Not sure about the primer being sealed or not on either load. You can seal your ammo/primers using aftermarket sealant if it is important to you. |
