well, the my M27-9 MIM hand -pin broke off after only about 500rds of 357Mag.

Took it to a local gunsmith, he said he doesn't see too many of this happening at all.

He quoted me $65 to order a part and "fitted". It was going to be about the same as sending it back to S&W.

I notice Brownell has these parts, can't I just swap it out? The gunsmith was pretty stern about this part needs custom fitting.

On a revolver proper fitting of parts is the best way to go
