Sort of a silly question, but I have a kydex holster set up for my M&P that I am going to a threaded barrel on. I need to somehow reform the tip of the holster to conform to the extended barrel.  Can I carefully take a blow torch or heat gun and heat only that section?  Or is there another recommended process?  I have never worked with kydex.

A heat gun can be used to spot soften kydex. Be very careful and only heat it up as much as you need to, shiny=too far.
