THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
My stepfather has an ancient Astra Hope 1916 in .25 ACP, but it will not fire when loaded. We disassembled it and found that the firing pin doesnt protrude enough to contact the hammer upon firing, so it must have broken. Can anyone tell me where one can be found or made?
I REALLY want to get this for him, as the pistol is very sentimental.
Thanks guys.

ok here's an offer for you... I will make one for you out of tool steel and then harden it(no charge, I like a challenge). if you are close to me in pa we can meet so I can exmaine how long it will have to be to function with the correct protrusion, otherwise, i will make it overlong and you can chuck it/file it down to the correct length, hows that sound?
