Snagged this early production 6904 for $330 out the door today at a LGS. They had it marked for $370. I talked 'em down to $299.99 for it.

Other than some minor holster wear. This gun is mechanically perfect and barely shot.

Been needing something to fill the void of some 3rd Gens I had to sell.

Bought a SD9VE today. Very impressed considering the price. Definitely one of the best values out there. Trigger and grip takes some getting used to compared to my Glock 17. 299 trouble free rounds with one very interesting fte in the second and third pic.

The improved Sigma is one hell of a value. Better in my opinion than the M&P.

I can't tell, but that casing doesn't have a rim right?

Nice! I was actually thinking of getting a SD9ve before i got the M&P. I still might one day. Are you planning on putting a light on it? From the few pictures i have seen, the APL looks good. It seems to look good on all the S&W guns actually.

Yep, case was missing a rim and I missed it when loading.

Probably going to put a SF X300 on it.

New to me 3904.  I seriously love this gun.  I've tried just about everything and been disappointed or disinterested.  This thing is terrific.

Edit:  correction, I've liked a lot of guns.  Just not Glocks and M&Ps which has complicated things.

3914 that I purchased new in the early 90's and carried it to the point that the black anodizing had started to wear off the frame and had started to get a few rust spots on the slide.

At the time, around 1995, a fellow member here, cmshoot was working at a gun shop I frequented on a regular basis and offered to help me get it redone. I refined the melt on the slide and he disassembled it, had the slide refinished in Black-Ti and the frame sent back to Smith & Wesson to be refinished with clear anodizing, and then got it all back together.

Just snagged this S&W US Army Model 1917 for the unbelievable price of $500.

She's in super tight mechanical condition, the finish is amazing for a 100 year old wheel gun, she didn't go through a re-arsenal, all the WWI acceptance stamps are crisp and clear.

Not one of my usual humble brag threads of where I rob the evidence locker but I think I did well.

A 4006 I got a couple years ago through Summit Gun Broker. The serial range doesn't match anything in the S&W book. I replaced the ambi safety with a small strong side out of a 669, a 669 factory flush hammer, and filed down the slide stop a bit. There is no checkering on the front of the trigger guard for some reason.
