As the title states, I plan on picking up a 9L this Sat.

I'd love to hear from those that own or have owned them.

Also needing a couple decent holsters for it, who makes some good ones for concealement with and without a TLR-1s attached.  Thanks

I thought the 9L was discontinued and replaced by the 5" M&P Pro, basically the same thing.

I have the 40 version, and really like it,  it's got the APEX guts inside.

I want a 9mm M&P too.

I've got a 9mm Core.

I like it, will probably get an optic at some point, but don't really want to move up to Open division for USPSA

I have a M&P Pro 5". Wonderful gun, shoots better than I do, it is easily the most accurate handgun I own. The trigger was good out of box, I got past not having and audible reset. The sights are basic, but adequate. Fit and finish are flawless, wonderful pistol.

I have the performance center 40L with a 9mm conversation barrels in both KKM threaded for my Obsidian silencer and one non threaded from Storm Lake.  Both after market barrels are accurate and it eats everything that I shoot in it (steel case wolf and anything with brass).  I did have an extractor that cracked halfway on the face after a defensive pistol class and continued to eject shells without an issue. I didn't realize it was broken until cleaning it after the class.  It never malfunction even with half of the face missing.  I did replaced it with an Apex extractor.

Mine sits with RMR and I rarely shoot it with 40sw anymore due to price difference in ammo.

Just took it to a defensive carbine class last week as my transition weapon and it ran great again.  The trigger definitely smoothed out over time and while I not a fan of the hinged trigger, I have not replaced it.  The reset is fine for me but others will complain about it not being tactile enough.

I still like the VP9 ergo's better but the MP is still nice.  It is my night stand gun.

Turns out the M&P 9L is a discontinued item for public sales, but still available for LE sales.  I don't know what they've done to improve the trigger but it's miles ahead of an M&P .45 I used to have.  It's not old New stock either the fired casing was marked for March of this year.

Just picked it up today with NS, no safety, no mag safety, 3 mags, and of course brand new for $450, so needless to say I'm very happy with my purchase and really looking forward to get it to the range and put some rounds down it.

I just gotta get a duty holster for it with a TLR-1s attached.  After I wring it out with a few hundred rounds I may have my new duty gun.

I carried one for work for a while myself. Great gun. I did end up putting the Apex trigger in it though.

5.11 makes their thumb drive duty holster for it as well sans TLR1 though and of course Safariland makes several models for it with a TLR1

Alien gear is probably my favorite IWB holster maker. Something like Raven Concealment Systems could get you a decent combination IWB/OWB holster. If you carry it OWB you'd have to wear long shirts and or have it ride a little high on your belt so the muzzle end isn't so obviously poking out.
