I'm debating whether to reshape these used Spegel centennial grips or just sell them. To help the decision, is this gap labeled "1" normal? Also, the gap labeled 2 seems a bit larger than other examples I've seen but it doesn't seem noticeable while holding (shooting may be another story).

Not normal, not a good fit, IMO. I'd sell them.

Have j frames varied so much in size that this grip actually fits another j frame correctly?
