I've shot a half dozen M&P9s, all with factory triggers and about 3 of them have had this really annoying false reset in the triggers.  The others don't have that.  What is going on there and is there any easy way to ID which pistols have that short of shooting it?

I would think dry firing the gun would show if it had one.

You can feel it in dry fire. I haven't felt any newer model M&P's with this problem. The false reset is from the trigger bar "releasing" from the striker block on reset. The new trigger bar (h-stamped) made a huge difference. Apex parts would solve it on any gun.
