get a copy of Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson or post the serial # over in the S&W forum along with the same question and someone with the book will look it up for you.

I can do the same post a serial number ( not the yoke/ crane assembly number common mistake ) the serial number is on the bottom of the butt - sometimes but not always also listed inside the crane) and include any letter prefixes as well
