***UPDATED***

Okay,

I have a M&P 40 (4.25 barrel for now).  I have decided to go with a Inforce APL light.  I will also eventually be replacing the barrel with an extended/threaded barrel as well (Still determining which barrel to get).  I am considering Storm Lake extended/threaded barrel.

So after I get these add-ons...........I will be looking for a good holster to use.

Further, I plan on using a slight drop extension if possible (depending on the holster mfg) that will drop it below the belt but not a full drop leg platform.  If that makes sense??
I will be using this holster on a battle/war belt.  I have seen the drop made by blade tech.........but looking for suggestions as well.

So, does anyone have any advice?  I cannot be the only one that wants to holster an M&P with a light and extended barrel.  )
I really like the Safariland ALS 7TS holster.........but they do not make it for the M&P yet........and not sure if it would work with an extended barrel anyhow.

Thanks
Hope this makes sense?

Check out Off the Grid Concepts, top notch work and quality. I ordered one of their custom ADR MK3 OWB kydex holsters for my M&P 40 w/ an Inforce APL, couldn't be happier. They told me it should be a 5 week wait, it was on my doorstep in 3 weeks.

ETA: they do RTI compatible as an option if that interests you. Coupon Code Fortune15 gets you 15% off

Still looking for ideas on a particular drop set up to use with a custom Kydex holster.
Something to drop it lower from a battle belt....but not full drop leg length.

I have a holster from Kydex Tech for my M&P9/APL combo and I would almost bet he could made it work with a extended barrel, shoot them an email.

If an RTI attachment set-up is acceptable, G-Code makes some slight drop attachments, somewhere in between belt and full on drop holster

Maybe the Guncraft Drop Holster? It comes with a slight-drop with their own attachment, but also can be used with an RTI hanger to work with an G-code RTI wheel that has adapter that can drop its height as well.

Thanks, that would be a big help.  I still have not purchased a holster.

Only picture I have of it right now, I really like it though. Very positive lockup when holstering.
