Heads up that used 3913's and 3914's are available at SOS! $398 for the 3913 and $408 for the 3914 (strangely). Come with 2 mags and a holster! Not an insane deal, but good enough for me to FO.

Already snagged a 3913... might look at a 3914. I wonder if I can just buy a holster off 'em for cheap.

ETA:

Just called them and they said no on just buying the Holster.

Seriously though, I'm having a tough time picking the Lady Smith ( or her variants ) over another Shield for my wife, 'cause I really like my Shield...

I picked up mine. No purse. Both pistols in good shape, dirty as hell but an excellent value, I think.
I'm going to be cleaning these things for hours.

I picked up a police trade in 5906 and it looked pretty good, I took it apart best I could and dropped it in my sonic cleaner with lemme shine, the water turned almost black, took it out soaked it in rubbing alcohol and then hit it with the shop air. its very clean now. you could try that it would save you some time if you have a sonic cleaner, mine is a cheapie from ebay and works pretty good.

So here is mine, my 5906 is just above it.

the 7 round mag is too short. you can see how much shorter it is next to the 8 rounder. It looks exactly like the 8 round mag except it wont fit in the gun. I called Sportsman outdoor superstore and they put another mag in the mail to me yesterday.

my wife, a little annoyed I purchased ANOTHER gun, said, "Lady Smith? That's so f*cking gay".

I can relate to that feeling! Except I lack self-control and had to buy one anyway. Already ordered factory new replacement white/grey grips! Really hope I got an LS, as I had one about a year ago, sold it, and have regretted it since.

Definitely looks like a CS9 mag - I would have used that as an opportunity to buy a CS9, as they're pretty cool pistols and will take 3913 mags.
