I got one as soon as I could find one, right after they appeared at the NRA show.
I CCW mine a lot and shoot it often. I really really like it. I have a standard M&P and a 5" pro....all in 40cal. My DILLON 650 is setup for 40cal major IPSC loads, I have tons of 40 brass unlike most of ARFCOM, I like the 40 better than 9mm the 40shield shoots very well, recoil is than than I expected. i don't remember why, but, a while back, somebody posted something about the M&P and Garand, so I made this pic....

IMHO, the Shield 40 is the most awesome CCW pistol on the market today. Mine wears a CTC laser for even more awesomeness.

I already have. 40 ammo so that is why I am curious. I am also going to buy a mm barrel for my M&p full size too.

I have one and find it to be pretty snappy but I shoot G19 primarily.

I shot my dad's Shield .40 and it shot pretty well. It wasn't as snappy as I thought it was going to be. I liked it enough to get one in 9mm, only because it is cheaper to shoot and 9mm is fine for me.

I love my .40 Shield. Put 400 rounds down range the first day I shot it without a single hiccup. It's also my EDC gun.
