What do I have here? Serial number starts with H68XXX  Blued and in very nice condition.  Any idea of value?

Not sure about that serial - the number inside the crane area(which is what I think you are referencing ) is an assembly number NOT the serial number which is always on the bottom of the butt, and depending on vintage of the gun on any number of small parts. Smith intermittently did put the serial inside the crane but the to to serial is always on the butt.
Recheck serial and throw in some pics then we can help

See you did note a model number of 30-1 they started numbers in 57/58 and I believe the 32's were discontinued in the late seventies so with a little more info can probably date and value the gun
