Ok, I got my ACT M&P 9mm mag in today from Greg Cote LLC. Fit and finish is excellent. The witness holes are on the back, not the side like a OEM mag. Base plate is M&P like with the square hole for the locking plate. $20.95 a mag.

Tested out the Taylor Freelance and Taran Tactical extended bases.

Taran Tactical -

Taylor Freelance -

Both extended bases fit without issue, lock up tight.

They fit flush and drop free. The follower looks like a OEM one, right down to the number "9" on it.

I'm going to the range tomorrow and run some USPSA drills with it. I will report back.

If it does well, this will be a alternative to factory mags.

Haven't heard of these.

I have 15 factory mags so I should be set. But it's always nice have other options.

I have 50 factory mags and I'm still gonna buy some of these, if they preform well.

Tag as I have a 9 Pro and wife has the compact 9mm and the extra mags have been so high I could not buy spares.

Guys I'm sorry, but I did not make it to the range today, life got in the way.

So tomorrow is our clubs Friday Night Steel, so it's gonna get it's feet wet shooting at steel plates.

Fuckers....I was only a 5 stage steel match.

I'm test more in the coming weeks. I'm going to roll the dice next weekend and use it at a USPSA match.

If my scores suffer, I'm coming for you 2 because of the abuse I have taken.

I have run it through 2 USPSA matches and 2 steel matches, so far it has ran fine. Has about 400 or so rounds through it.

I ran another couple of hundred rounds through it yesterday doing USPSA practice.

No issues with it. Holding up well in reloads, it's hit the rocky bay surface during mag changes, nothing, no problems.

Cool thanks I ordered some from Mag Commander

I will try these next since they seem to be okay.
