I got used to it being there on my 9c and would like to put one on my VTAC. I was sent the safety lever, spring and cam from an m&p 45 and installed them into my sear housing block yesterday, works great! So to put this to rest, you can turn a non thumb safety VTAC to a thumb safety very easily.

It just has the plugs in it which made me believe i could add a thumb safety. If not i guess i can buy a different sear housing block if I want to add the safety.

I think the sear housing blocks are only ~30 to order so I will call and find out if that'll work.
