There are two main extensions out on the market for the M&Ps. The Taylor Freelance and Arredondo.
Taylor Freelance make arguably the best extensions for the M&P, but they are expensive. The base plate locks up the best and you don't have to worry about it falling off or cutting off the magazine. As a side note, I hate their logo that they put on there, to gaudy for me. Arredondo makes more of a budget extension and they work decently most of the time. The base plate does not stay fixed onto the magazine body so you have to watch it and make sure it isn't trying to come off and put a bind into the spring. Easy to install and simple, clean looks. So if you are looking for an inexpensive extension for purely range work or goofing off, the Arredondo will meet your needs. However, if you ever plan to carry your M&P with an extension for self defense or 3 gun or have it in your nightstand for home defense, go with the Taylor Freelance. |

The Arredondos don't stay in place in my experience. |

Theres no flies on the Arredondos. I used them at the Larue Multigun, and countless range trips with no trouble. As others have said, TF are superior but dont write off the Arredondos

They shit the bed in the first USPSA match I used them in by locking up the magazine springs since NOTHING HOLDS THEM IN PLACE. The Arrendondos are junk. |

I had a Arrendondo dump 20 rounds in the rocks, at my club, while I practicing, during a reload. |
