Had some fun today

Lots of FTE's and FTFire

It's pretty dirty though.

Though my day was done after the first shot. I keep CCI stingers in the gun, decided to shoot that mag before open the bulk pack. The first round was primer only. PSSSS is the only sound it made. Thought for sure I had a bullet in the barrel. Locked the slide back and saw light through the barrel. Wahoooo!

Did they change the design of the M&P 22 Compact?  Specifically the barrel?

I bought one made in February of 2015.  Has a barrel bushing and I got it off, but the barrel wasn't sleeved it was all 1 piece.  I also bought a YHM adapter.  Part # YHM-9789-A which is for a Walther P22 which is supposed the be the same as this S&W. It's too small and the threads won't even start.

Any idea what I need to order?

If I remember correctly, only the original m&p22 could use the walther p22 adapter. The m&p22 compact uses a thicker non-sleeved barrel so it uses a different adapter.

I am not a team member and I am on a tablet so I can not hot link so you will have to copy and paste,( I know, it is the end of the world):

My Dead Air Mask or the Silencerco Spectre II split time on mine.  The Sparrow works well also, but the first round pop on pistols has left that can dedicated to rifle duty.  My 22 compact has been flawless, after 2 frustrating years with the full size 22.

Have you had a chance to listen to the m&p22c suppressed vs a 22/45 suppressed? I sold my 22c and got a 22/45 lite and I freaking hate it. I only switched because I heard that the 22/45 suppressed better...

Here is my M&P 22 compact in fde. It is suppressed with a Silencerco Warlock II. I have since put on Williams fiber optic fire sights and a Spartan red laser for these old eyes. They make a big difference.
