I thought it would be helpful to new M&P owners and anyone else, to compile a list of Companies that service the M&P aftermarket. Parts, sights, smith work. If you have them, please post.

SW's website is slow and hard to navigate. I know I banged my head a few times on the keyboard trying to find this information so I thought I would put it here for quick reference:

Smith and Wesson Factory Parts:

PDF Parts List for SW Handguns
PDF Parts List for SW Revolvers

Accessories & Parts

Replacement parts and accessories for your Smith & Wesson firearm are available from your local Smith & Wesson Stocking Dealer, or directly from the Smith & Wesson Parts Department.

When ordering parts directly from the factory, please provide the following information:

Model Number
Dash Number
Serial Number
Approximate date of purchase
Part view Number (refer to diagram)
Complete Return Address
VISA/Discover/MasterCard Number and Expiration Date
For Foreign Orders Only, Fax Number or E-mail Address
1-800-331-0852 (USA)
Mon-Fri 8:00AM-8:00PM Eastern Time
1-413-781-8300 (International)
Mon-Fri 8:00AM-5:00PM Eastern Time

ETA: I just called to order some backstraps, a front night sight, and the Mass trigger spring. The spring isn't listed in the parts list but he was able to find it for me. The guy was very helpful and the prices were quite reasonable. Also, when calling the number above press (7) to get to factory parts orders.

You can get guide rods that allow the spring to be replaced from Bill. Been buying from him since before he had a real website.

Has anyone tried the trigger mods in the link? Looks pretty easy, but curious to have input from the people that have done this. Thank you.

I did the DIY trigger job on mine and it is a big improvement. It wasn't hard and it doesn't cost anything. I did mine before APEX was making parts. i would probably just buy the APEX parts rather than do the DIY job now though, because I bet it would be even better.

I have done the APEX DCAEK kit except the striker block because I cant remove the rear sight. Some of it was slightly challenging but relatively easy. Huge improvements on the trigger.
