M&P Target that shipped in 1911 with a somewhat uncommon 6.5" tube. Still shoots great!

Picked up this S&W 1905 3rd change today for $300.  Round butt (someone along the way put square conversion grips on), 4” barrel.  Serial number 236xxx puts it in the 1909-1915 range. Not in terrible shape for a ~108 year old gun.  Looking forward to getting it cleaned up and taking it to the range. Also on the hunt for a set of round butt grips for it.

I know nothing about revolvers although that may be about to change because of this S&W 38 Special. I'm about to do some digging to determine the date of manufacture and anything else that I can find.

My S&W 36 that I snagged off Gun Broker in the beginning of December 2023.  Serial# dates back to 1972.  Amazing condition and was actually a real LEO's backup piece back in the day, down in Florida, as per the FFL dealer.

You guys with the 13 PCs are killing me!
Why Smith doesn’t make a standard 13 like that is beyond me.
