I was browsing through some old issues of
Guns & Ammo and noticed an ad for a Stock
that attaches to a Beretta 92.

Anyone know if these are still around ?

Anyone have one ?

What is the legality of having a stock
on a pistol ?

Ive seen them out there for Gov issue style .45s but never the Beretta. Every time I see one of the adds I ask myself one question, WHY? [:\]

I believe that the pistol must be registered as a short-barrelled rifle to add the stock on your beretta.

Your correct.  It must be registered as a short-barreled rifle, if you still can do it.  My question is...Why do it?  Just buy a carbine.
