Rediscovered the 92 after picking up a 92A1 for a good price, shopping for upgrades, curious what differences there are between it and my Elite II which is a brigadier based model.

92a1 is not a standard 92, the entire slide is different visibly with the dove tail front sight. Other changes are  captive recoil spring and recoil buffer. The slide is also thicker in the guide rid area to hit the recoil buffer, so the 92a1 slide will not fit on a standard m9/92 frame

The 92 brigadier slide is wider and reinforced in the locking block area. Besides that and the dove tail sight it's the same as a regular 92 internally.
