I have one, and aside from mag catch stuff and grips, they seem to be pretty standard 92 bits and pieces, they also didn't have the locking block issue that the later guns had.
I really like mine. It has plenty of holster type wear, but was obviously carried by a cop who believed in taking care of his pistol, I have bought brand new pistols that weren't as clean as this one. I was kind of shocked, I have bought several police trade-in guns in the past, and they are typically in bad need of a good cleaning, this one wasn't. As a matter of fact it was anally clean, and meticulously oiled. One of the smoothest operating pistols.
I had it out for its first real range session today, accuracy was pretty good (I was concerned about the smallish, non replaceable front site), and reliability was perfect, even using the "Taurus PT92 reproduction" mags I bought from Sarco cheap. Of course I found factory Beretta mags for $15 each the day after I ordered, so I went form concerned about mag availability to having eight extra mags.
