Wondering my lgs today and they have a M9A3 type G on the shelf! I already have the standard m9a3 and been wanting a G model since they first announced this gun. I am broke as a joke right now. Should I put her on a credit card and take forever you pay for it?

That, and unless that style of Beretta killed Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mao it's never going to be a thousand dollar firearm.

Make America great again, charge it, don't charge it, pay cash, get another job, but leave the store with that gun.  It may save your life.  Buy it now.

I don't see the appeal of a 92 in any configuration. And yes, I have owned one.

Which is fine. I don't need everyone to like what I like but why did you come in the Beretta forum just to say you don't like 92s?

She is purdy. If you can afford the extra payment for it,why not. If not, wait a little while.

Can't afford it, don't buy it man. Not worth the headache

No sense in impulse buying like a teen with their first CC

Scour the corners of the internet for a G conversion and pay a smith to put it in if you don't want to.
Guarantee you'll come come out under $1K

It does seem like some people come to this site to find an argument.

G Conversion kit is $55. Stock comes and goes. Buy that. Takes ten minutes watching youtube to learn how to change it.

I agree, wait until you can buy it outright.  Is layaway an option?

Pretty sure the M9A3 G conversion kit they sell for the 92 series of pistols will work on a non-G version of the M9A3. While the kits are fairly hard to find right now they aren't all that difficult to install.

The kit definitely works on the FS version of the M9A3, I installed one on mine and it works perfectly. One difference in installing the kit on a M9A3 is that because of the upturned safety levers on the M9A3 is you have to depress the right hand plunger to rotate the safety far enough to remove it. The new G levers will not be upturned when installed.
