I believe this will be officially unveiled at SHOT:

This is the gun Ernie Langdon has been working on for a while...and it will include some new sights from Ameriglo on it that look pretty darn cool:

I dig the texturing on the grip and the "G" decocker as standard. I've held a standard PX4 and I'm tempted to try one, but the grips seemed awfully smooth and feel like they would slip around in my hands during firing. Also the low profile G levers seem like they come and go as far as availability, though I have not looked in a while to be honest.

The competition trigger kit seems promising...if this gun indeed comes out this year and sales take off, I wonder if the trigger kit in the future will be offered as an individual item for purchase? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I don't see any sights for the PX4 on their site have they come out with yet or no?
The pistol looks great but if they try to sell for $700.00 what is the point?
Not that saying that Beretta will but you guys know how they are.

Tag.....just bought a PX 4 compact last year.

I did the skate board tape on the grips to keep it from slipping. Was thinking of putting the stealth levers on mine but haven't felt the need at the $65ish pricing.

Is it going to be available in just 9mm? Hopefully they make one in 45.

Actual street price on the normal PX4 is about $475-500. $200 sounds kind of steep for night sights and a handful of carry-friendly mods, but it's much cheaper than it would be to roll your own.

The 9mm PX4 Compact has been my EDC for over a year now, and I've done some of the mentioned mods myself already.

PX4 (new) - $450 (out the door price)

Stealth levers / decocker conversion kit - $69 + $11 shipping from Beretta

Ambi slide delete plug - $10.53 from brownells

Trijicon night sights - $115 (Amazon)

$656 for what I consider a fantastic carry and range pistol. Well over 2000 rounds through mine. Similar dimensions to a G19, but shoots much better (IMO). I also made my own compact extended magazine as an EDC backup mag.

Mine has lots of wear on the finish of the slide due to holstering, so maybe the cerekote would be of benefit here.

I personally have no issue with the grips as they are.

I'm curious about the change to the trigger, though.

Very interested. I hope the street price is much lower than msrp, like all the other px4s. If not I'll probably buy since this has everything I'd want to do to a stock pistol in a nice package.

According to Langdon himself a few days ago there are production delays related to the sights for the gun that they are working through. Release date is anyone's guess but it is not even in production yet and it will be made in Italy so..............

I need some of those sights, and that trigger. Love my PX4 compact.

Edit: Talked to Beretta, they don't plan on selling the trigger or sights separately. Do you hate money Beretta?
