I havent had to change out the extractor in any of my 40-9 conversions yet

you only need to change the barrel and mags to go from 40 to 9mm
I shoot uspsa matches with my 96fs that I change to 9mm |

Turns out that the 96 Centurion I was looking at was a D, which isn't what I want.
