So, I'm trying to get a handle on what the actual OTD prices are regionally for new Beretta 92FS pistols. It seems to me like not all that long ago I used to be able to buy them new for around $550 or so no problem in NH, these days most shops I've seen want around $600 or more for a plain 92FS, which is, IIRC, about the same price for one over at Bass Pro. I was lucky enough to get a brand new 92G a few months back for $560 OTD and I practically felt like I'd won the lottery or something considering not only was it about 40 bucks less than the norm that I've seen around here, but also that it was a G model, which ALMOST NOBODY in NH seems to stock, or even know what it is

Could we get a thread going with some actual out the door prices on Beretta 92 FS pistols (I don;'t know about anywhere else, but sometimes shops want a bit more for commercial "M9" marked guns)? I'm curious what the AVERAGE price is that people see these things listed for in local shops around where they live.

Like I said, around here in NH, by and large $600 or so OTD for a NIB 92FS or M9 pistol. Anybody else?

I just picked up my Italian Beretta 92FS from grabagun for $509.  Locally, they are around $700.  $550 is about the average price I have seen online.

It's been about 2 months & I am still waiting for the range bag. Good deal though...funny story....as soon as I walked in the door with my 92FS with range bag promo voucher, Fishermans was selling the beretta 92FS with range bag handed to you that day for 500 OTD. Vould have saved 30 bucks & got the range bag same day.

Was a Great deal either way though.....Only regret is not spending the extra 30 bucks for the railed model. Still kicking myself over it

Apparently a decent deal can still be found around these parts from time to time--just saw a really nice older used 92G for $399 with 2 15-round mags (1 Beretta and 1 Checkmate). Guess who picked it up...

I checked what is typically considered the most expensive store in the area, Gander Mountain in SE MI. Stock 92FS were selling for $599+tax. Sounds as if you shopped around, you should be able to find a better deal.

$500 plus tax a week ago at my LGS, 92FS made in Italy.  Shoots pretty good but trigger is a little on the heavy side.

There are some deals around right now on the 92FS Trident models, which is basically a standard 92FS with a nice set of walnut grips, an Elite II hammer and a nice little cleaning kit. I got this one yesterday for $500 out the door (shitty cell pic):

Definitely an EII hammer. I had a D-spring in my spare parts and have added that to it. The only other thing I'll add is an oversized mag release. The nice thing about the Trident, besides the price, of course, is I typically change grips, add a D-spring, checkered mag release and an EII hammer to all my Berettas, and this one had two of the mods already done, An EII hammer is $32, and walnut grips run about $50, so it's like getting a new 92FS for $420 in my mind.

I'd still like to add a G to the group though.

Are the Tridents dealer exclusives? I've seen some on gunbroker, but to my knowledge never just sitting in a shop around my area. Is the Elite II hammer that much better than the stock one? (I'm asking because I've never tried one).

The Tridents aren't an exclusive to my knowledge. My LGS had 3 of them on the shelf. The EII hammer is really just an aesthetic improvement in my opinion, nothing wrong with the standard hammer.

OP, what shop?

I bought a BNIB M9 from shooters last year for $490. Although, it was blow out stock from a closing gunshop down south they bought up cheap.

Renaissance Firearms in Gonic, NH (basically Rochester) had brand new Beretta 92Gs a few months back for $560 out the door. I didn't look too hard at the M9s or 92FS's but they were (and probably still are) about the same price. Pretty neat shop actually. http://www.renarms.com/

Riley's wants around $590 to $600 for a 92FS, slightly more perhaps for an M9. No 92Gs that I've seen. I'm sure they could order one no problem, but nobody there was familiar with them (at least that day). *Probably* would want a bit more for a G over a 92FS, because it is decocker only Some M9A1s and INOXes but of course those are more money (understandable).

Shooter's Outpost might want slightly less than Riley's for a 92FS, maybe(?) but I think I've only seen INOXes, M9A1s and 92A1s lately, which again, are more money. They do have the best price I've seen (shipped) anywhere for brand new factory Beretta 92 15 rounders--$25.

Village Gun Store waaaaaaaaaaaaayy up in Whitefield IIRC want about $600 for an M9. Not a terrible price, just an average one is all.

I'm trying to remember offhand, I think Collector's Firearms down in Pelham probably have 92FS's for around $580ish or so (not positive on this), and the shop owner is very reasonable with his pricing--last time I was there I think he knocked 10 bucks off a gun without me even asking.

Kittery Trading Post in Kittery, ME (since you have to do the transfer at the transfer station in Portsmouth down the road) wants $600 for an Italian 92FS or M9.

A small shop can order them for 600.

For what ever reason the shops distributor did not stock the 92g so I found one on grabagun for 544.
