So I'm looking to try to find some books or instructional DVDs that specifically focus on improving marksmanship with the Beretta 92/M9 series handguns, either from a tactical or a competitive perspective, either would be useful/helpful. I've always had an easier time shooting the Beretta than the Glock 17 but would like to improve my skills with it because there is plenty of room for improvement there.

Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks

First suggestion is to watch Ernest Langdon's videos and practice the DA trigger and DA/SA trigger transition. Look up his resume- he is a multiple IDPA and USPSA winner @ a high level who shooters the Beretta 92 series gun

Second would be to buy Ben Stoeger's books. Ben is a USPSA Grandmaster who won multiple USPSA nationals with a Beretta 92 as well.

Also I like this video from Paul Gomez about how to manipulate the slide for malfunction clearance drills without accidently knocking it on safe

Contrary to popular belief, the DA/SA trigger and the Beretta 92 series can be shot at a very high level. Just takes more practice than others

While it focuses on bullseye ( really the foundation for all the other types of shooting anyway ) the service pistol marksmanship guide from the amtu ( available for purchase on the cmp website) is a good idea
