I'm doing some research for a friend. He has a US Historical Foundation Commemorative US Marine Corps Beretta M9. The best I can tell it was made in 1995 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the M9 being the US Military service weapon. I believe 1985 were made. I have searched the interwebs for value and only found two that have sold in the last 6 years. The USHF does not list it on their site. I have emailed them asking for help. Any tips would be appreciated on finding value. Here are some pics to show it off a little.

With rare exceptions, commemorative aren't worth more than their ungilded brethren. I believe you'll find the shiny goodies are brass plated rather than gold plated? Correct me if I'm wrong there.
So unless some Marine really wants this one, it's just anther M9, IMO. As you state, there's virtually no market for these used. My .o2 |
