Thanks to some quick trading, I was able to upgrade my basic 92FS into a (dead sexy) classic all-stainless INOX. Also helped two other people get the guns they wanted along the way!

Same.

I wanted to go with a 96, but apparently Beretta isn't making them blued anymore, and I didn't want a 96A1 with the ugly rail and rounded trigger guard, so I figured I'd just go with the M9, since it has everything I wanted. Sure, it's not chambered in .40, but it's just going to be a range gun, and I've got plenty of other guns to pick up the slack should I need them to...

Mil-Tac makes 'em. You can also support Wayne Novak the pistolsmith by buying them through his site: http://www.novaksights.com/products/grips/miltac.html#beretta

Also, VZ had an email with some Beretta grips in the background, so it might potentially be making some here soon. HTH.

BTW, they're about $100.

I figured after nearly 20 years, the old girl deserved a new pair of shoes:

And yes, I am well aware that next time before taking fancy pictures I should clean the crud out of the slide serrations. It adds character, at least that's my story.

First time Beretta owner. Not knowing the subtle differences between models, like the trigger guard, I was looking for an older model made in Italy. I found this safe queen, mfg in 1984. It's a 92SB and it's beautiful. I haven't gotten to shoot it yet but I love it already.
As it came originally

After the addition of Hogue grips. I have a set of rubber Beretta grips but I like the finger grooves.

Rosewood grips always set off a nice pistol.

Very nice to everyone. I just picked up a m9a1 and will post pixs soon. For those that have them, should I think about upgrading to the oversized mag release?

Shot it for the first time yesterday, a couple of FTE issues but the mag is very worn, would like to pick up a couple of newer ones if I could find them
