Yes,
this Wilson frame,
the EII frame,
and the
M9A1 frame with
the VZ grips is fantastic.

Just hit my second trip to the range and 1000 rounds through mine.

It digest 115 grain reloads, 125 grain reloads (both Berry),
1960s hot Egyptian surplus sub gun rounds,
NATO,
Winchester White Box,
and
Federal Champion
like a champ.

The mag bodies are really nice also.

I have been shooting Berettas since  we traded in beat up old 1911s back in Ranger Bn around 1987,
and this is the finest out of box one I have had.

what guide rods do you use in your Beretta's? Mostly wondering about your 92a1

Looks like you need a new compact and an old Compact M and your collection would be complete.

Those are some nice Beretta's.  Very nice.  And the new one is very nice too.

I love shooting my M9.  I just need to figure out what holster to use for carry.   I can pull it off in the winter but I think with the right holster I could do it for longer than just really big clothes.  But not sure which holster that is yet.  Do you carry any of your fullsize?

Nice collection, nice version done by Wilson. I still have a hard time understanding why someone would subject their firearm to mud, sand or anything else for a picture.

I did a very long initial impression, range report, range comparison shoot, and follow up comparison shoot review.

http://berettaforum.net/vb/showthread.php?t=111708

Basically,
The Wilson, the M9A1, and the Elite II with VZ grips are the best shooting in the hand gun.

The Elite IIs came with some plastic parts, which make the Wilson superior, although the EII had front serrations and no rail.

The M9A1 cannot dovetail the front sight, no Brigadier slide, and FS configuration instead of G.

If Beretta puts out a Brig G upper on an M9A1 frame (for rail fans), and the same upper on a Elite II frame (for no rail fans) with all metal parts,
they will have hit it out of the part and can probably MSRP about 2/3 the Wilson Price.

I like to run factory, metal guide rods in my Berettas.

The 92A1 has a capture recoil rod/spring from the factory which works fine, but makes it not swap/compatible with any but the 90-two gun that uses the same system.
Also, the 92A1 has no checkering and no beveled mag well.

As for carry..

I have summed it up here.

I did not subject it to mud and sand for a picture.

I specify in my long review,
but I spent of a lot of time with an M9 in the sand, rain, snow, etc.

I took the gun out in 36 degree weather, got it wet and sandy, and then shot 750 rounds through it.

I am not big on torture test where you do crap to your weapon like run it over and stuff you would not really do.

I am all for getting it wet, muddy, falling over a wall wearing it, ladder busting off a roof, etc.

such a sweet gun, nice pic.

I really want the slides/frames of Beretta standardized between compact and full.

I would love an M9A1 compact or an Elite II compact with full sized slide/barrel.
