Might just be a aftermarket set. But yes the M9 has the logo on the grips.

GI contract replacement part. Nothing "special".
The Army contracts with suppliers for spare parts for everything, guns included. For the M9, sometimes it's Beretta, sometimes it's someone else. A contractor wouldn't be able to legally use the Beretta logo, so no logo. It's not "sanitized" or anything like that. Just a replacement part made by a contractor for the US government. |
