Ok, haven't shot this gun in years. Recently I have noticed the non Vertec Elites were bringing $1200-1500. Were these not made for very long? I can find the regular gripped Elite 1 A's for sale, but have not yet seen a Vertec model for sale.

I may be wrong but if I recall correctly the Elite II and 1A shared the same Brigadier slide but the 1A came with the Vertec frame while the II retained the original grip.

I think the Elite 1 came/was made  with a stainless barrel as well. I miss the Elite 2 I had.

If the Elite II is bringing $1200 I'll sell mine tomorrow. I like the gun a lot but that's nuts. I've seen them around $700-800 (and I'm still tempted to sell at that). The Vertecs were nice and the Elite IA was one of the best (IMO). I would think that your, which appears to be in very nice shape (or even LNIB) so it might be as high as $800-900. I have seen a few Elites listed in that $1200 range on gunbroker but haven't seen one sell for that.

I put mine on Gunbroker. It got up to $1262 and the high bidder mailed me to say he would buy it for that price if I decided to sell it.  I only paid $500 for it new. Not sure if I want to let it go for that or not.

Beretta is full of vapor and BS lately, I'm not quite sure what happened to them.

Congrats OP, turned out to be a pretty good investment. Going to buy a new toy?

Already did before it sold! Picked up a Colt 1911 made in 1935 and a Colt Chateau Thierry commemorative NIB with all the shipping cartons. Of course it was a bit more than I got from the Elite.

I had an Elite II and miss it. The prices are nuts, but many Beretta limited run pistols bring high premiums. Quality is job one with Beretta.

I'll never let go of my Elite unless people are willing to pay some crazy prices. I modified mine, but it can be put right back to stock if necessary.

Congrats on the sale.

God damn, the value of these Elite's are crazy.

I wonder what mine would sell for.
Beretta 92G Elite II
Heavily modified by Ernest Landon way back in 2002.

The frame was beveled for carry, then refinished in Teflon-S
Slide was beveled for carry and bead blasted
Gunsmith fit Bar-sto 4.7" Barrel
Level II Trigger Job with overtravel stop
Spurless Hammer
Novak Tritium Night Sights
CTC Laser Grips, Gen 4
Wolff Trigger Spring Upgrade
Harrts Mercury Filled Guide Rod
Upgraded to the newest generation locking block/plunger
Spring rebuild kit
Black hex grip screws

Several Holsters
Milt Sparks Improved Baker
Lou Alessi Black Sharkskin Holster

I carried in on duty for years as a Government Security Contractor state side until I needed a weapon with a light mount. Probably has 15,000 rounds through it, and I can't ever recall a single malfunction.

Of course, I would never sell it.
