Just want to give everyone a heads up that stock Sig P227 14 round magazines will fit and function 100% in a stock P320c 45 without any modification.  The floor plate on the P227 has to be altered if you want the mag to fit in a full size P320 but the compact grip will accept the mag fine with no issues.  The gun will also run the magazine 100% with no troubles.  It appears that the mag bodies are exactly the same and only the floor plates are different between the P227 and P320.

Interesting.....

wonder if Sig will be converting to this style mag for future guns. Would greatly simplify their lineup.

No first hand experience here but Ive always heard the 14 round P227 mags dont even run reliably in the 227.

My 14 rd mag runs fine in my P227. I have 600 flawless rds thru it. I am so confident that my night stand pistol is the P227 with a 14 rd mag inserted.

Sig sells the 9mm 320 floorplate so you can convert old gen-1 250 mags to use in the gen-2 250/320.  I wonder if they do something similar for the .45 so you can use 227 mags?
