So now that you've decided to buy a Sig P320, what model are you buying and why?

Pics are a plus!

Full Size TACOPS. Or Full Size Nitron. Or a mix of one of each. Both in 9mm. Just whatever I my dealer can get me the best bargain on. Not cheapest price , but biggest discount from MSRP.

The TACOPS comes with 4 x 21rd mags, and is only about $100 more than the Standard Nitron Full Size that comes with 2 x 17rd mags.

Right now I've got him looking for the TACOPS, but he's got me two Full Size Nitron guns for $968 out the door, so I'm not complaining.  If he can find the TACOPS and get that big a cut off of it, then I want to go that way.

X-5 is coming in today.  Frankly the X series ar the only ones that interests me.  If this one works well I will likely add a VTAC and a carry.

Compact because threaded barrel to suppress all the things.

Toss a subcompact frame on it for carry and you've got the most flexible P320 in their lineup. Would love to get a compact RX model as well.

Im also debating about making my next one a 45 and getting a 9mm conversion kit for it. Sig says it won't work but the interwebs forums say otherwise.

I might even go with a MA compliant model despite living in a free-ish state just so I can have one with a thumb safety.

I started off by trading a Glock 19 for a P320C.  I then added Sig X-Ray night sights and they're pretty nice, but if I had to do it over again I would have gone with the new Trijicon HD XRs or whatever they're called.  I have those installed on my Glock 42 and they are bitchin'.  But I digress...

Compact slide and compact small frame w/ Sig X-ray and a Tier1Concealed holster, Inforce APL Gen 3 is on the way from opticsplanet.  I work and am mostly active at night and sleep during the day, so a WML was mandatory in my opinion

Then I decided to buy a small sub-compact grip in OD green for OWB carry, mainly when hiking with the wife on the weekends or when I head to the range.  It was very difficult finding an owb pancake holster that fit the compact slide/sub-compact grip combo, but lo and behold- my wife's full-size Springfield XDM holster from El Paso Saddlery fit like a glove.  She never uses it anymore, so now belongs to me.

.45 ACP Carry for me.  Since Im stuck in NY with a mag capacity limit of 10 rounds it was the only real caliber choice for me.  Great pistol btw, I love it.  Apex trigger upgrade and a switch to Ameriglows.

So, you must not like the P320 very much huh?

I'm waiting for the X-Carry. It's really the only one that interests me... I'm just trying to diversify away from my G19s and VP9 at this point. The new P10C will also find a way into my collection soon, and I'm just going to keep a couple that work best for me.

I see how that could be more concealable with the shorter grip, but why the longer slide? More sight radius? More velocity?

I picked up the 9mm carry model because it's the first one I saw in person and the first one I got to shoot.  For me, it shot very well and was very comfortable so I ordered one as quickly as I could.  I'm currently looking at getting another one for a back up and maybe a full size .45 acp.

Eagerly hoping/waiting for a 10mm version.

For the most part, yes to all three. I am going to be ordering the .357sig barrel for it and want as much oomph as I can but I also love how it looks.

I will eventually get a compact in 9mm just to have.

I love the .357! Only reason I bought the P320 in 40S&W was the .357 were sold out and the only ones available, the guy was selling to LEO only...

I really love how the gun fits in my hand, it has replaced my G19 as my main carry.

How do you determine what size frame you are buying? I always see them advertised as Full size, compact or sub-compact, but nothing regarding small, medium or large frame.

Pretty sure all factory guns come with a medium grip module, with exception of the subcompact, which comes with a small grip.

They're stamped on the backstrap.  S, M, L.  Medium is the standard and what almost all guns come with.

I'm starting with the full size 9mm and then will get one of the conversion kits for .357SIG. It's going to be a late birthday present to myself as I ,over to free state next month and will be within reasonable driving distance to SIG MIL/LE dealer.

As others have said medium is the default grip circumference.

otherwise full = 17 rd mag full length barrel; carry = 17 rd mag shorter barrel; compact = 15 rd shorter barrel; sub = 12 mags.

Small/medium/large modules are grip circumference within each of those frame sizes.

I picked up a Full size 9mm. Shoots amazing, wanted a threaded barrel but one isn't offered in Full size, hopefully the aftermarket will fill that need. Also have an Apex advanced flat trigger on the way.

What is the advantage of the "Carry"? It seems to me that the grip frame is what makes it easier or harder to conceal. Also the longer slide/barrel provides a longer sight plane. Why the large grip frame and shorter barrel? Quicker to clear the holster? Better for AIWB?

Purchased a P320 Carry with threaded barrel and suppressor sights

Decided I wanted to place an RMR on it.  By my calculations, by the time I purchased the RMR and had the slide milled it I could purchase a P320c RX.

Low and behold my LGS had a P320c RX in stock, so I bought it then played the P320 "modularity" game.

Bought a FDE small carry grip module and a FDE small compact grip module, switched slides so the Romeo 1 now sits atop the threaded barrel.

I am really pleased with the results, and they shoot quite well.

Sig Sauer P320 Carry, Threaded Barrel, Sig-Lite suppressor sights, Romeo 1, with FDE small carry grip module, Gray Guns curved trigger, Surefire X300U-B

Sig Sauer P320 compact, Sig-Lite suppressor sights, with FDE small compact grip module
