Just got a P320 compact in 40 S & W.  It groups extremely well at 25 yards, but shoots about 6 inches high.  I am shooting 135 grain bullets.  Don't know where to go from here to lower the point of impact.  Any suggestions?

Most Sigs have combat sights.   Are you covering the target with the front sight?

Yes and when I do the point of impact is 6 inches above the point of aim!

Mine was about that high OOB.

Bought it for IDPA and was planning on installing Dawson sights so it didn't bother me.

I told Dawson the sights I needed but they said the only way to get the Perfect Impact warranty was to buy the regular set, see where it hits, then replace the front if needed.

They ended up sending me the front I originally wanted and I got extra practice with the dovetail file.

I shoot 'dots on.'

OP, you can always go to a higher front sight.

I've shot two different new P320 9mm Compacts with the same #8 night sights.  One was 4 inches high, one was dead on at 15 yards.

Same day, same ammo, same sight numbers, different POI.

I have two P320 compact 9mm... one has contrast stock sights #8 rear #6 front.. it shoots high at 10 yards, the other used to shoot high until I had Sig X-ray sights installed #8 front and #8 rear.. it is dead on at 10 yards now, can't comment much on 25 yards.. I can't see the target that far!

I am having the same issue with my 9mm. Mine shoots, consistently, high within 10 yards.

I just picked up a new p320 9 mm today and low and behold it hit dead on height wise, but shot about 6 inches to the left.  Easy fix for that, but truly Sig needs to address this poi thing that have going on.  Probably just me not being used to the gun, but I am not impressed with either of them as of right now as far as accuracy goes.  Now the 357 sig barrel that I bought shoots very well in the 40 s & w.  Guess with a little time we'll know for sure!

My p320 carry shoots left.  It's obvious though the rear site is not centered.  I don't have anything to bump it over, I'll have to buy a sight tool or find a gunsmith to adjust it.

My P320 Compact has the same issue. In fact, neither the front or rear sight is centered. Pretty sloppy work, IMO. I will be getting a sight tool to center both sights in the near future. I really like the pistol, just can't see why the factory can't center the sights.
