I don't have this model, but I do have the Equinox in .45 ACP and the Nitron Ellite in 10mm. Both are awesome pistols and I highly recommend them.

I've got 2 P220s and I recommend them highly.
They've been extraordinarily reliable and extremely accurate. |

My father has a P220 Scorpion as his EDC. I've put a couple of hundred rounds through it, and I'm impressed. You'll find that 220s across the board are very accurate handguns to begin with, and the Scorpion was no exception. No reliability issues to date, although it's only around the 1K mark. One thing I'm unsure about is the finish, it's doing well so far but I don't know how well it would hold up over time.

Have a p220 nitron and it is my gavorite 45, topping my g21, remington 1911 and colt gold cup.

Good luck with your P220 and post a range report for us.
They're really terrific handguns and I hope you enjoy owning and shooting yours for many years. Clean and lube the frame rails and barrel before you shoot it; I lube mine with TW25B Grease and one of them is looking great after more than 32,000 rounds. There are plenty of excellent greases but I've had exemplary results with TW25B. Be sure to lube it properly and it will last for many tens of thousands of rounds. |

What's the scorpian? Is that the brown one?
I got an older 220 last year, it's a nice pistol. The thin metal decocker and slide release are the only parts that don't seem very high quality. Also I wish the front of the magazine well below the trigger was checkered. But nice pistols. I kind of want the 10 round version but have not seen one. Don't see many sigs around here |
