357 isn't nearly as common as an LEO round as 9mm or 40.
40 is probably the most popular by far with PDS, unpopular with civis, and PDs have scheduled wear outs for their guns she surplus them regularly. Thus a large supply. SIG DAK sells cheap because it's not as popular with the general public. 9mm keeps its value well as well. 357 just isn't in nearly as wide spread use as the other two so the supply just isn't there. |
