That's pretty much the going rate today. Seen as low as $950 on gunbroker., but that's in line with the prices on the mk25.  For $100 more you can get a 226 legion or Tacops which imo has a few more upgrades like the srt, better nights sights, etc.  only thing the mk25 prep idea that's different is the corrosion resistant coating, that and an anchor :)

I paid $850 for my threaded barrel with three mags and night sights. But that was the .mil pricing....   You gotta humble brag when you get a price like that.

$999.99 is pretty much the starting point everywhere.  You can do better but you'll have to shop around and put in the leg work of looking at various online retailers, auctions, etc.

I just did one search (below) and I see it for less than $900 at two stores so depending on transfer fees and shipping vs tax you may save $100 or more.  I'd recommend you look harder than one search and go to the big dealers and request a price if you have to since MAP makes it a pain but it will save you in the end.  buds gun shop, ky gun co, grabagun etc

Don't forget you can always replace 10rd mags with top quality mec gar mags for ~$20ish a mag so don't' rule out 10rd as an option but but avoid CA legal like the plague because they have a mag disconnect that is part of the locking insert and a hacked up slide to accommodate a load chamber indicator you just wouldn't believe.

$999.00 is pretty much it now .Some months ago Sig cracked down on the pricing of their products . I think they they call it MAP or something like that .
No more Sigs at 10 bucks over cost .

If you happen to be Fire, EMS, LEO, Mil, or 911 you can get one from Quantico Tactical for around $850.  If you watch Buds, when they put them on the make an offer, try $875, I had a friend get one for that from them.

$810 here. But that was like two years ago.

Is it me or have SIG prices jumped bigly in the last few years? I bought a P226 TACOPS for just over $900 at the same time. Now their prices are *whoa*.

Last summer MK25's were bouncing around $815-$825 . Six months later and now they're over a grand.

Grabbed my FDE one new for $900 shipped on Gunbroker a couple weeks back. Guess I got lucky, but I really think I shouldve waited and gone with the black version.

I paid $800 shipped for mine in December of 2015. I don't know if that same place has had them for that price since then.
