Hello all, first thanks to all who have helped me throughout this journey. I've posted some quick pics. The pistol is gorgeous, excellent, no holster wear and obviously minimal, minimal shooting. The proof marks date it 93. Included, 1 Sig zipper 13 round mag. 2, 13 round phosphate mags, and 1, Mecgar 15 round mag, original box, test target, manual, and a STOP tag. The unfortunate blessing in all of this craziness, is that it created a whole new set of issues. The pistol is just too damn nice to to shoot regularly. I'm going to need to buy another pistol or two to shoot and "train" with. I've got my eyes set on the Walter PPQ, "classic" of course and the Sig P320. What the hell should I do now?

It would be to nice for me to carry or shoot much,  You could always get a 2022.  Their somewhat cheap and the manual of arms is the same.
Or just bit the bullet and carry and shoot the crap out of this one.

Well, since I just dropped $1200 OTD on a Legion... I would probably just go ahead and shoot the heck out of that sweet little thang you picked up.  My similar aged 228 never looked as nice as yours though. So I carry and shoot it without hesitation.

What good is a gun if you don't get to enjoy shooting it?  Maybe don't holster it to preserve your outer finish, but shoot it. P228s aren't collectibles (outside of rare models/finishes)

If you want something similar, find a used SP2009/2022. Trigger pull won't be the exact same, but being DA/SA it will be closer than a striker.
