I was at my gunsmith today and he had a customers pistol, a Sig 1911 C3, green anodized alloy frame, black slide and Hogue grips....

This is the first time I ever held a Sig 1911, as my entire 1911 collection is Colt.

I have to say, the pistol felt fantastic, light weight...

He said in was a Talo special edition.  Can someone give me some facts on this pistol...

And input on the Sig 1911 pistol in general, reliability.

Thanks,

77

Looking at the Sig website, it looks like it is a Commander length slide with an Officers grip length.

Is this a fair assumption?
