I love my P239 - but mines in 9mm...   it is 'top' heavy for sure

I have a P239 in .357 Sig.  One day the department told me that .357 Sig was going to be removed from the approved list for duty/off duty use.  (I believe that they didn't want to buy an oddball caliber, as all duty/off duty ammo had to be issued by policy)  I carried a 226 on duty and the 239 off duty, both in .357 sig.

I got BarSto conversion barrels and used the .357 mags for the 239, stone reliable 9mm.  The gun was still as accurate as a laser beam.

The 226 needed 9mm mags to run reliably.  Carried them for several years as 9mms.

Having the ability to fire both cartridges is good. Now hit up SGAmmo and have enough of each round so as to be relatively panic proof.

I really want a Glock chambered in .357 Sig as a hedge against the next panic. In my area it was the one pistol round that never disappeared from the shelves after Sandy Hook.

If you get .40 magazines you can shoot .40, .357 Sig and 9mm from the same mag.  Using the .40 magazines all you need to swap is the barrel to the appropriate caliber and you're good to go in all three calibers.

P239 in 9mm is my most carried pistol.  I love it.  The top heavy slide and small grip make it carry very comfortably and conceals well.

I have an old German frame and two new complete US made ones and the new US made ones are much tighter fit guns.  They're all dehorned and finished very well.  100% reliable with all the ammo I've tried.

I never have problem finding .357SIG ammo.  My Glock 32 is my carry workhorse while all my training and such is done with a 19

If you want to see how .357 sig can really be.  Try the S&B 140gr. ball.  (I don't know if they make an HP) that stuff was pushing near 1600fps from my 226 and shook the grip screws loose.  I seriously had to tighten the grip screws after every 50 round qualification shoot.

ejection is...vigorous.

Ditto.  Been carrying my G32 for well over a decade now.  Now I want a 1911 in 357sig.

Mine tosses brass a long way too!   But they land in a nice pile if you're shooting groups and it doesn't put 'em in my face and down my shirt like some *ahem, other* pistols do...
